PA Global Participates in the October Forum of Firms

The PA Global Leadership Team participated in this October’s Forum of Firms meetings in Madrid in an Observer capacity, engaging in a series of discussions focused on the future of audit quality and the profession’s public-interest responsibilities.

The Forum of Firms is the global association of international networks which purpose is to: 

  • Promote consistent, high-quality audit practices worldwide
  • Reinforce responsibility to the public interest
  • Support adherence to International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the IESBA International Code of Ethics

Learning and Insight

As Observers, the PA Global team attended technical sessions, keynote discussions, and regulatory briefings covering:

  • Evolving expectations around audit quality management
  • The application of professional skepticism
  • Strengthening governance and ethical safeguards in practice
  • Market and regulatory developments across jurisdictions

Participation provided exposure that supports both strategic thinking and technical refinement across PA Global’s network.

Leadership Transition and Recognition

The meetings also marked an important leadership moment:

  • Ms. Fiona Campbell was welcomed as the new Chair of the Forum of Firms.
  • A recognition was offered to Mr. Brian Smith, honoring 27 years of contribution and leadership to the profession.
